Installation Guidelines

Welcome

Thank you for installing Fitness & Health Calculators. This app allows you to add five professional health calculators to your Shopify store without writing any code.

Included calculators:

  • BMI Calculator
  • BMR Calculator
  • Body Fat Calculator
  • Daily Calorie Calculator
  • Pregnancy Calculator

The app is fully compatible with Shopify Online Store 2.0 themes and can be added to any page using Shopify Theme App Extensions.

Step 1: Install the App

  1. Install the app from the Shopify App Store.
  2. Click Install and approve the requested permissions.
  3. After installation, open the app from your Shopify Admin.

No coding or theme modification is required.

Step 2: Open the App Dashboard

After opening the app, you will see all available calculator blocks.

Available blocks include:

  • BMI Calculator
  • BMR Calculator
  • Body Fat Calculator
  • Daily Calorie Calculator
  • Pregnancy Calculator

Each calculator works independently, so you can enable only the calculators you want to display.

Step 3: Add a Calculator to Your Store

  1. Go to Online Store → Themes.
  2. Click Customize on your published theme.
  3. Open the page or template where you want to display the calculator.
  4. Click Add Section or Add Block.
  5. Select Apps.
  6. Choose the calculator block you want to display.
  7. Save your changes.

The calculator will now appear on your storefront.

Step 4: Customize the Calculator

Each calculator includes customization options inside the Theme Editor.

You can customize:

  • Heading
  • Description
  • Heading Alignment
  • Container Width
  • Background Color
  • Border Color
  • Button Color
  • Button Text Color
  • Border Radius
  • Typography
  • Animation
  • Information Sections

All changes are applied instantly after saving.

Step 5: Configure Calculator Settings

Depending on the selected calculator, additional settings are available.

Examples include:

BMI Calculator

  • Metric or US units
  • BMI results
  • Healthy weight range
  • BMI Prime
  • Recommendations

BMR Calculator

  • Metric, US, and Other units
  • Daily calorie estimation
  • Activity level calculations
  • Weight maintenance suggestions

Body Fat Calculator

  • U.S. Navy Formula
  • BMI Formula
  • Body Fat Percentage
  • Lean Mass
  • Fat Mass
  • Body Fat Classification

Daily Calorie Calculator

  • Maintenance Calories

Step 6: Save Your Changes

After customizing the calculator:

  1. Click Save in the Shopify Theme Editor.
  2. Refresh your storefront.
  3. Verify that the calculator appears correctly.

Your customers can now use the calculator immediately.
